Our approach
Planned Before the Work Starts
Safety is built into planning, scheduling, and supervision — not treated as paperwork. Hazards are identified in advance, controls are put in place before crews begin, and conditions are re-evaluated as work progresses.
Site-Specific Safety Planning
Each project begins with a site-specific safety plan that reflects the actual scope, site conditions, facility requirements, and hazards expected during the work.
Activity Hazard Analyses
Definable features of work are reviewed through activity hazard analyses that identify hazards, required controls, competent persons, and inspection requirements before work starts.
Daily Safety Meetings
Crews review the day's tasks, changing site conditions, coordination with other trades, and required controls before beginning work each day.
Excavation & Trenching Safety
Excavations are planned with utility locating, soil classification, protective systems, safe access and egress, spoil placement, and competent-person inspections.
Confined Space Safety
Permit-required confined space entries are controlled through permits, atmospheric monitoring, ventilation, attendants, communication, and rescue provisions.
Hot Work
Welding, cutting, and other hot work is performed under permit with fire watch, area protection, and coordination with facility personnel and fire systems.
Heavy Equipment
Equipment is inspected, operated by qualified personnel, and managed with swing radius controls, spotters, and separation between equipment and workers on foot.
Rigging & Lifting
Lifts are planned with rated equipment, inspected rigging, established load paths, and exclusion zones beneath suspended loads.
Fall Protection
Work at height is protected through guarding, approved anchorage, personal fall arrest systems, ladder and scaffold controls, and protection of floor and roof openings.
Personal Protective Equipment
Required PPE is provided and enforced, including head, eye, hearing, hand, foot, and high-visibility protection appropriate to each task.
Traffic Control
Work near roadways and active facility traffic is protected with traffic control plans, signage, flagging, and pedestrian routing.
Work in Occupied Facilities
Work in active facilities is coordinated with owner personnel to protect building occupants, maintain egress, and control dust, noise, and utility interruptions.
Quality Control
Quality control and safety are managed together through preparatory, initial, and follow-up checks, inspections, testing, and documentation.
Incident Prevention
Near misses, observations, and corrective actions are tracked and addressed so hazards are corrected before they cause injury.
